Eskvale Hockey Club is affiliated with Scottish Hockey and therefore follows the Child Protection Policy which is contained in Scottish Hockey's Ethics Manual.
Here at Eskvale, we strive to make sure that all children and young people are safe and have fun. This includes communication, training, games and transportation.
All coaches, parent helpers and captains are PVG checked.
Further to this, where transportation to games has been organised by the captain, all under 18s will be placed in a car where the driver has been PVG checked.
All under 18s, who are playing for a senior team, must complete the Safe in Care form (below - Under 19 regestration form) at the start of every season and return this to the Child Protection Officer. Failure to do so will prevent you from being able to attend training and games.
Any club member who has been newly appointed a coaching, captain or transportation role must fill in the Self-Declaration form (below) asap and return this to the Child Protection Officer. They will then provide you with the correct PVG application form. Failure to do so will prevent you from being able to take on your appointed role.
